NovoRapid contains insulin aspart produced by recombinant DNA technologies in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Each mL of the solution contains 100 U of insulin aspart (equivalent to 3.5 mg).
One pre-filled pen contains 3 mL equivalent to 300 U.
It also contains the following excipients: Glycerol, phenol, metacresol, zinc chloride, disodium phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), water for injections.
