Metronidazole + Miconazole nitrate (Inserdin) is used in the treatment of candidal vulvovaginitis due to Candida albicans, in bacterial vaginosis due to anaerobic bacteria and Gardnerella vaginalis, in trichomonal vaginitis due to Trichomonas vaginalis, and in mixed vaginal infections.
