Per gram of Drapolene cream contains benzalkonium chloride 100 mcg and cetrimide 2 mg (0.01% and 0.2% w/w).
For the relief of diaper rash and for use as an adjunct to baby care hygiene for the prevention of diaper rash. For the relief of urinary dermatitis in adults, as an adjunct to patient care hygiene for the prevention of urinary dermatitis.
The affected area should be washed and dried thoroughly. For optimum effect, the area of application should be free from soap residue.
Adults (including the elderly): A thin layer of cream should be applied evenly across the affected area several times a day, as necessary.
Neonates, Infants and Children: A thin layer of cream should be applied evenly across the affected area after every diaper change, paying particular attention to folds in the skin.
Do not use in if you are allergic to Benzalkonium chloride, Cetrimide, Lanolin or to any of the other ingredients in this product.
If this cream is swallowed, contact a healthcare professional for advice. Avoid getting this cream into eyes or onto contact lens. If patient develop a rash or skin irritation or if condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, stop using the cream and see a doctor.
Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue Disorders/SOC: Contact dermatitis, local skin and reactions (Frequency unknown).
Immune System Disorders/SOC: Allergic reactions, immediate or delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions. (Frequency unknown).
For first sign of adverse drug reaction, seek medical attention immediately.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
