Loz 1 loz to be slowly sucked every 1-2 hr up to max: 12 loz daily. Uninterrupted treatment should not exceed ≤7 days. SolnAdult 15 mL gargled for at least 30 sec at 1½-3 hrly interval as needed. Rinse for oral lesion 15 mL held in the mouth & swirled around for at least 30 sec repeated every 1½-3 hr throughout the day. Childn 6-12 yr 5-15 mL. Throat sprayAdult & childn >12 yr 2-4 sprays. Childn 6-12 yr 2 sprays. Spray directly onto the sore/inflamed area & swallow gently. Repeat every 1½-3 hr as necessary.
History of asthma & NSAIDs hypersensitivity. Do not swallow soln. Severe renal or hepatic impairment. Sensitization reaction w/ soln. Appropriate antibacterial therapy should be considered in bacterial infection complications. Excessive loz consumption may have laxative effect. Pregnancy. Not recommended in childn <6 yr.
Oral numbness; dryness or thirst, tingling, warm feeling in mouth, altered sense of taste. Systemic adverse reactions are very uncommon & are not serious in nature.
