Celecoxib is contraindicated in: Patients with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Patients with known hypersensitivity to sulphonamides.
Patients who have experienced asthma, acute rhinitis, nasal polyps, angioneurotic edema, urticaria or other allergic-type reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other NSAIDs including COX- 2 inhibitors.
Treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
