Per tab Centaurium erythraea (centaury herb) 36 mg, Levisticum officinale (lovage root) 36 mg, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary leaf) 36 mg

Indications/Uses

Supportive treatment & as adjuvant to specific measures in cases of mild complaints (eg, frequent urination, burning micturition, increased urge to urinate) caused by inflammatory diseases of efferent urinary tract; to achieve flushing of urinary tract in order to reduce deposition of urinary stones.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr 1 tab tid (morning, noon, evening).

Overdosage

View Canephron Uno overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.

Administration

May be taken with or without food: Swallow unchewed w/ some liqd (eg, a glass of water). Ensure adequate fluid intake.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to centaury herb (Centaurii herba), lovage root (Levistici radix), rosemary leaf (Rosmarini folium), other plants of Apiaceae, anethole. Peptic ulcer. Oedema due to impaired heart or kidney function &/or reduced fluid intake.

Special Precautions

Medical attention should be sought if symptoms worsen or no improvement after 3 days. Not to be used in self-medication for >2 wk. Occurrence of persisting fever, pain in lower abdomen, spasms, blood in urine, micturition disorder & acute urinary retention. Contains lactose monohydrate, glucose & sucrose; not to be taken by patients w/ rare hereditary problems of fructose/galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency or total lactase deficiency. Diabetics. Insufficient data in case of impaired renal/hepatic function. Do not use during breast-feeding. Not to be used in childn <12 yr.
