If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, think they may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask the doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Patient should not take Butamirate Citrate (Atussin) film-coated sustained-release tablet during the first three months of pregnancy. From the fourth month of pregnancy, the patient should only take Butamirate Citrate (Atussin) film-coated sustained-release tablet if the doctor has explicitly advised to do so.
If the patient is breastfeeding, she should take Butamirate Citrate (Atussin) film-coated sustained-release tablet after doctor's advice.
Talk to the doctor or pharmacist before taking Butamirate Citrate (Atussin) film-coated sustained-release tablet if: The patient is pregnant, might become pregnant or think they may be pregnant.
