Each capsule contains: Buclizine Hydrochloride 25 mg, Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1) 10 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 5 mg, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 10 mcg, Elemental iron (as Ferrous Fumarate 76 mg) 25 mg.
Pharmacologic Classification: Appetite Stimulant.
Appebon with Iron exerts the synergistic actions of Buclizine, B-complex vitamins and iron in a nutritional supplement to stimulate appetite.
Buclizine has metabolic effects that have been shown to stimulate appetite. The B-complex vitamins, particularly Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 are required in numerous metabolic processes involving protein, carbohydrate and fat that lead to energy production and utilization. Iron corrects hematologic abnormalities due to nutritional anemia. Correction of iron deficiency has been shown to improve appetite and work efficiency.
Nutritional supplement in patients with depressed appetite.
Adults: Orally, one capsule daily.
Or as prescribed by the physician.
Buclizine may impair the ability to perform activities requiring mental alertness or physical coordination such as operating machinery or driving a motor vehicle.
Buclizine may potentiate the CNS depressant effect of barbiturates, tranquilizers and alcohol.
