The wax plug is due to the excessive secretion of ceruminous glands. The endoscopic analysis showed that the wax looks like a yellowish or brown mass partially or totally obstructing the external auditory canal. If they are not treated, the wax plugs can provoke the onset of even serious diseases; deafness, intense pruritus, transmission hypoacusis, etc.
The regular use of Otomer helps to keep the external auditory canal clean and unobstructed, thus preventing the use of cotton swabs and any risk for the tympanum.
Isotonic sea water solution to wash and clean adults' and children's ears to prevent the formation of wax plugs and facilitate their extraction.
Directions: Remove the protective cap from the spray bottle and fit the nozzle on the valve. During distribution, the cylinder should be held in the vertical position to enable it to be completely emptied. Leaning head slightly to one side, insert the nozzle into the external hearing duct. Press the valve. Wait for a few seconds and gently dry. Wash with hot water and dry the nozzle after use.
Frequency of use: Use as directed, several times a day, if necessary.
Do not use in case of otitis, tympanum perforation, presence of foreign bodies within the ear/when foreign objects are obstructing the ear or directly after ear surgery.
If product gets in eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Use under adult supervision.
