Acute & chronic resp tract diseases especially chronic & asthmatoid bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, laryngitis, sinusitis. Reduce sputum viscosity.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Tab Adult 1 tab tds, may be increased to 2 tab bd. Syr Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL bd, 6-12 yr 5 mL bd-tds, 2-5 yr 2.5 mL tds, 1-2 yr 2.5 mL bd.

Overdosage

Special Precautions

Discontinue use immediately if skin or mucous membrane damage occurs. SJS, TEN, erythema multiforme & acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. May cause GI upsets, circulatory failure & CNS disturbances due to large amount of Na metabisulfite.
