Anti-Static Valved Holding Chamber for use with Metered Dose Inhalers.

This chamber is intended to be used along with a metered dose inhaler to deliver aerosol medication to lungs as prescribed by healthcare provider.

AeroChamber: Before Each Use: This chamber can be used directly out-of-package. Ensure these instructions and the instructions supplied with the inhaler have been read. Carefully look into the chamber. If there is any visible dust or other debris inside, then clean the chamber. Replace immediately if it is damaged or has missing parts.
How to Use Chamber: For preparation of the inhaler, follow the instructions supplied with the inhaler.
Remove caps from the inhaler and mouthpiece chamber. Shake the inhaler immediately before use as per the instructions supplied with it.
Mask: Insert the inhaler into the backpiece of the chamber. Apply mask to face and ensure an effective seal.
Exhale then press the inhaler once at the beginning of a slow inhalation. Hold mask in place and breathe in and out through the chamber for 5-6 breaths.
Mouthpiece: Insert the inhaler into the backpiece of the chamber. Put mouthpiece into mouth and close lips around it to ensure an effective seal.
Exhale then press the inhaler once at the beginning of a slow inhalation. Inhale slowly and deeply through the chamber until a full breath has been taken. Hold breath for 5-10 seconds before exhaling.
Alternatively, exhale and press inhaler once at the beginning of a slow inhalation. Breathe in and out through the chamber for 2-3 breaths keeping lips sealed around chamber mouthpiece.
Notes: SLOW DOWN inhalation if whistle sound is heard, it means the patient is inhaling too quickly.
If someone is helping the patient, use the Flow-Vu Inhalation Indicator to ensure a good seal, coordinate pressing the inhaler with inhalation and to count the number of breaths taken. The Flow-Vu Indicator moves toward as the patient inhales and only moves if the patient has a proper seal.
Administer one (1) puff at a time. Follow instructions supplied with the inhaler on how long to wait before repeating.
AeroChamber2Go: Using the Chamber: Shake inhaler immediately before use (remove cap).
Insert inhaler into back of the chamber.
Press inhaler as the patient starts to breathe in slowly and deeply.
Notes: Ensure these instructions and the instructions supplied with the inhaler have been read and are kept available at all times.
Take 1 puff at a time. Follow instructions supplied with the inhaler on how long to wait before repeating.
Tips: For best results, hold breath for as long as it feels comfortable before exhaling. This improves the effectiveness of the medicine.
If the patient is not able to hold breath, simply press the inhaler and breathe normally in and out 2 times through the chamber to inhale the medicine.

Warnings: AeroChamber: Do not leave the device unattended with children. Contains small parts that can cause choking.
AeroChamber2Go: Carefully look into the chamber. If there is any visible dust or other debris inside, then clean the chamber.
Replace immediately if the chamber is damaged or has missing parts.
Ensure the patient can open the chamber before storing the inhaler inside.
The chamber is not intended for use by children less than 5 years of age.
Cautions: Do not use with Soft Mist Inhalers (i.e. Respimat^†), Dry Powder Inhalers or Nebulizers. The chamber has not been designed to deliver these medications so you may not get the proper dose.
Failure to follow instructions may affect medication delivery or cause inhalation issues.

Caution: Do not boil or sterilize. Product may be permanently damaged if boiled, sterilized or cleaned in a dishwasher at a temperature above 70°C.
Product should be replaced after 12 months of use.
Notes: Do not share this medical device.
Product is free of Bisphenol A.
If the patient notices medication build-up in the chamber, wash the inside of the chamber gently with a soft cloth.
Dishwashing with overly dirty dishes is not recommended.
If cleaning in a dishwasher use a rinse aid.
For cleaning of the inhaler, follow the instructions supplied with the inhaler.
AeroChamber: Cleaning Instructions: This chamber can be used right out-of-package and then cleaned weekly.
Remove the backpiece. To detach the frontpiece, twist chamber.
Soak the parts for 15 minutes in a mild solution of liquid dish detergent and lukewarm clean water. Agitate gently. Rinse parts in clean water.
Alternatively, place parts in top rack of dishwasher. Ensure product is securely placed face up. Run the dishwasher on a normal or light cycle. Do not heat dry.
Shake out excess water and allow to air dry in a vertical position. Ensure parts are dry before reassembly.
To reassemble, fit the frontpiece on the end of the chamber and twist firmly until securely locked into position. Center the alignment feature on the backpiece with the Flow-Vu Inhalation Indicator. Press firmly to attach the backpiece.
Notes: Product is free of Phthalates, Latex, Lead and PVC.
The chamber device can be disposed of with domestic waste unless this is prohibited by the disposal regulations prevailing in the respective countries.
Put cap back on the mouthpiece and store in a clean, dry area when not in use.
Testing has been conducted with the following disinfectant solutions: Milton, Dodie, Perasafe.
Test results indicate that the solutions tested have no adverse effect on the performance of the device.
AeroChamber2Go: The inhaler can be stored inside the chamber.
Chamber is enclosed on both ends helping to prevent debris from entering.
Designed to fit most commonly prescribed inhalers. (Note: inhaler is sold separately)
Cleaning the Chamber: The chamber can be used directly out of the package and should be cleaned weekly.
Lift the cap and open the chamber to remove the inhaler.
Wash the chamber in warm, clean water with liquid dish detergent, agitating gently. Rinse in clean water. OR Place on top rack of dishwasher as shown. Run the dishwasher on a normal or light cycle. Do not heat dry.
Shake out excess water and allow to air dry. If the chamber is required immediately, dry gently with a clean dish towel.
