Pipemidic acid

Indications/Uses

Infections of the GUT caused by sensitive gm +ve & gm -ve microorganism.

Dosage/Direction for Use

1 cap 2 times daily 12 hrly. Treatment should continue for ≥10 days to prevent the possibility of recurrence.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Infants.

Special Precautions

Severe impaired renal function. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Nausea, abdominal pain, exanthematous or urticarial skin rashes, neurosensory, psychological change w/ vertigo & dizziness.
