Description
Therasorb C Hydrophilic Dressing is a rectangle or square dressing consisting of lemon yellow or milk white hydrophilic polyurethane foam.
'C' of Therasorb C Hydrophilic Dressing means Cavity and can usually be used for cavity wounds. Therasorb C can be applied to cut emitting excessive exudations such as burns of 2 or more degree and bedsores and cavity wounds. As it absorbs exudations excellently, Therasorb C can be used for wounds with excessive bleeding.
It can be used for cavity wounds after being cut to the proper size and being filled.
Its absorbability is more excellent than normal foam dressings as there is no protection film layer.
Adhesive feeling and effect of lessening pain are excellent as it is hypo-allergenic and has good permeability.
Indications/Uses
Therasorb C Hydrophilic Dressing can be used for the dressing of leg ulcers, bedsores or surgical wounds. (Surgical wounds mean abrasions, burns, bruises, wounds of operation, bedsores and so on).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instructions of use: Cover type (burns with 2 or more degree and so on): 1. Cut the Therasorb C Hydrophilic Dressing according to the size of the wounds after washing the wounds with running water or physiological saline.
2. Remove the printed paper from dressing first and apply the dressing to the wound. Then remove the white paper attached on outer side of the dressing.
3. Fix it with dressings or adhesive tapes.
4. Change the dressing if it swells.
Cavity Wound Type: 1. Wipe off water around the wounds after washing the wounds with running water or physiological saline.
2. Fill cut the dressing according to wound size and remove white papers on the upper and lower sides of it first. Then fill 70% of the size of wounds by rolling and inserting the Therasorb C Hydrophilic Dressing in the wound.
3. Cover it with Therasorb Algi Plus Dressing as a second dressing and fix it with dressings or adhesive tapes.
4. Change the dressing if it swells.
Contraindications
Pay attention not to use oxidizing agents such as hydrochlorite fluid or peroxide with it as bubble fillers can be destroyed.
Special Precautions
Prohibit using it with other purposes except medical treatment or original using purposes.
Use it immediately after opening the product paying attention to the pollution of wounds as it is sterilized.
Use it after stopping the bleeding with sterilized gauze or Therasorb Algi Plus Dressing in case that bleeding is serious.
Use it under the instructions of doctors and pharmacists surely in case of patients being allergic to something or having sensitive skin or skin diseases.
Consult with medical professionals in case that the wounds don't heal or expansion, edema, bleeding or smell of wounds increases.
Don't use it disinfecting again as the Therasorb C Hydrophilic Dressing is disposable.
Storage
Store Therasorb C in room temperature avoiding high temperature and humidity.
Store Therasorb C in a clean place avoiding direct light.
Airtight container. Room temperature (1-30°C).
Shelf-life: 36 months from manufacture date.
