Indications/Uses

Induction & maintenance of anesth in adults & childn ≥3 yr. Continuous sedation & control stress responses to intubated & mechanically ventilated adult patients in ICU.

Dosage/Direction for Use

General anesth Titrate approx 40 mg every 10 sec. Patient <55 yr 2-2.5 mg/kg. Elderly or ASA Grade III/IV patient Dose may be reduced to 1 mg/kg, slower administration rate of approx 2 mL every 10 sec.
