PYFORBON is Hydroxyapatite Bone Graft which is cubes-shape is a pure natural mineral hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) derived from bovine cancellous bone which is processed at high temperatures to produce materials that can be for humans. The composition and microstructure of PYFORBON is very similar to that of human bone.
PYFORBON is available in cubes shape of a 5 cc which can be used for one time only.
PYFORBON will be integrated if placed on viable bone so that it will accelerate the bone regeneration process.
PYFORBON Hydroxyapatite Bone Graft Cube contains: 5 cc: 12 cubes, each measuring 5 x 5 x 5 mm.
PYFORBON is indicated to fill gaps (defects) or empty spaces in bone in the metaphysis and diaphysis both in the extremities, spine, cranial and maxillofacial bones. PYFORBON has osteoconductive properties. In its use, PYFORBON can be facilitate bone regeneration well. PYFORBON can also be used in impaired healing such as in the case of non-union.
Instructions for Use: Before use, make sure the PYFORBON packaging is tightly closed and there are no tears in the packaging, so that sterility is guaranteed properly.
Perform X-Ray checks to estimate the required PYFORBON volume.
Take and choose PYFORBON according to the patient's needs.
PYFORBON does not have the strength to support or support the fracture site, so internal fixation is required. Internal fixation is not required if the bone around the defect has mechanical strength. To strengthen the osteoconductive properties of PYFORBON, it is recommended to mix it with bone marrow aspiration or blood clot or autografted bone at the time of surgery.
PYFORBON is contraindicated in patients with exposed bone, infection, when there is excessive stress without stabilization or fixation, and when there is a metabolic disorder that causes hypercalcemia in the patient.
This product is intended for one time use only, so if there is leftover, it cannot be used again at a different time. This is to ensure the sterility, effectiveness and safety of the product.
Dispose of unused product residue.
PYFORBON is distributed in sterile conditions in 10 mL bottle in plastic vacuum and sterilization pouch.
This product is sterilized by gamma ray irradiation.
Do not use this product if: Gamma ray indicator is not red; the packaging is damaged/opened/torn.
PYFORBON has no side effects unless the patient has hypersensitivity to hydroxyapatite.
Store at a temperature below 30°C, in tightly closed containers and protected from light and the moisture.
Shelf life: 24 months (2 years).
