Symptoms: Depression of cardiac conduction and convulsions may occur.
Treatment: When this occurs, gastric lavage should be employed. Following overdosage, there may be depression of cardiac conduction and in severe cases, treatment with isoprenaline injection or electrical pacemaking should be considered. Convulsive crises may also be observed and these may be managed by diazepam.
