Hypersensitivity. History of hypersensitivity to sulphonamides. Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic-like reactions to NSAIDs. Not to be used as treatment of post-op pain immediately following CABG surgery. Active peptic ulceration or GI bleeding. Inflammatory bowel disease. Severe CHF. Patients who have experienced bronchospasm, acute rhinitis, nasal polyps, angioneurotic oedema, urticaria or allergic-type reactions after taking ASA or NSAIDs or other COX-2 selective inhibitors. Severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh >9). 3rd trimester of pregnancy & lactation.
