Urea.

Description

Moisderm 10% Cream: Each gram cream contains 10% Urea.
Moisderm 20% Cream: Each gram cream contains 20% Urea.

Action

Moisderm is a cream that moisturizes and smooths dry skin.

Indications/Uses

Treatment of ichthyosis and other dry skin conditions.
Hyperkeratotic or scaly condition, such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Moisderm should be applied twice a day after washing or bathing for optimal therapeutic effect. The frequency of application can be reduced after improvement occurs. For hyperkeratosis of feet, soak feet in warm water for 15 minutes and dry with towel before applying cream.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Moisderm.
Bacterial, viral, and fungal diseases (if urea is combined with steroids).
Pregnant woman.

Special Precautions

Do not use around the eyes or wounded skin.
Discontinue administration if irritation occurs.
Do not use in high doses on large areas, since it can cause serious systemic effect.
Temporary burning sensation may occur.

Adverse Reactions

Moisderm can cause burning and irritation if it is used in inflamed skin.
