Loratadine

Indications/Uses

Relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis, sneezing, nasal discharge & itching as well as ocular itching & burning; chronic urticaria & other dermatological allergic conditions.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult, elderly & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab. Childn 2-12 yr, >30 kg 1 tab, <30 kg ½ tab. All doses are given once daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Special Precautions

Hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions

Fatigue, headache, somnolence, dry mouth, digestive disorders, nausea, gastritis, rash-like allergic symptoms.
