Macrogol 3350.

Indications/Uses

Relieves symptoms of occasional constipation and chronic constipation.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adults: Occasional constipation: 1 sachet daily for max of 7 days.
Chronic constipation: 1 sachet daily for 7-15 days.
Children: 0.4 g/kg/day.

Contraindications

Patients with intestinal obstruction. Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Pregnancy, lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Gastrointestinal discomfort, such as nausea, flatulence, cramps, diarrhea, watery stools, abdominal pain, headache. Urticaria.

Drug Interactions

Drugs which may enhance the risk of electrolyte imbalance, other oral drugs. With laxative stimulants may enhance the risk of mucosal ulceration or systemic colitis.
