Per tab/5 mL susp Simethicone 50 mg, Mg hydroxide 250 mg, Al hydroxide 250 mg

Indications/Uses

Gastric hyperacidity, peptic ulcer, accumulation of gas in GIT.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Tab Adult 1 tab. Childn ½ tab. To be taken 3-4 times daily. Susp Adult & childn >12 yr 1-2 tsp 3-4 times daily.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1-3 hr after meals & before bedtime.

Contraindications

Renal failure.

Special Precautions

Renal insufficiency.

Adverse Reactions

Rarely, constipation, diarrhea. Hypophosphatemia (prolonged use).

Drug Interactions

Affects absorption of Fe, tetracyclines, digoxin, INH, warfarin, H₂-receptor antagonists.
