Sugammadex.

Description

Each mL of vial contains Sugammadex 100 mg.

Indications/Uses

For reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium and vecuronium.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Routine reversal: 2 mg/kg body weight to 4 mg/kg body weight.
Immediate reversal: 16 mg/kg body weight, was administered 3 minutes after a bolus dose 1.2 mg/kg body weight of rocuronium bromide.
Young children: 2 mg/kg body weight.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Renal impairment (should not be given in patients with creatinine clearance <30 mL/min). No need adjustment dose in patients with hepatic impairment.

Adverse Reactions

Cough, tachycardia, bradycardia, movement and increased heart rate.
