Tablet: Adult: 15-25 mg daily in 2-3 divided doses.
Children: Adrenocortical insufficiencies 7.5-15 mg/m2 daily in 3 divided doses (in the morning, afternoon and evening).
Powder for injection: Intravenous/intramuscular injection, IV infusion: Adult: Initially ≥100-500 mg for 30 seconds to 10 minutes. May be repeated at 2, 4 or 6 hour intervals.
Children and infant: Individualized dose. Minimum dose: 25 mg daily. Max: 15 mg/kg.
