TabAdult 30 mg 4 times daily. May be increased gradually to 360 mg daily in 3-4 divided doses. Inj Direct IV bolus: AdultSupraventricular tachyarrhythmia 10 mg slow IV over 3 min. Management of abnormal BP increase during operation 10 mg slow IV over 1 min, followed by IV drip infusion at a rate of 5-15 mcg/min/kg. Hypertensive emergency IV drip infusion at a rate of 5-15 mcg/min/kg. After BP is decreased to the target level, the rate of drip infusion is adjusted to such level as indication by BP monitoring.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
Contraindications
Sick sinus syndrome, 2nd- & 3rd-degree AV block, hypotension.
Special Precautions
1st-degree AV block. CHF. Hepatic or renal impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
