MYELOSUPPRESSION: BUSULFEX (busulfan) Injection causes severe and prolonged myelosuppression at the recommended dosage. Hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation is required to prevent potentially fatal complications of the prolonged myelosuppression. [See Myelosuppression under Precautions.]
