Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients of Blopress Plus or to sulfonamide derived drugs (hydrochlorothiazide is a sulfonamide derived drug) or to any of excipients.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 ml/min/1.73m2 BSA) or anuria.
Severe hepatic impairment and/or cholestasis.
Refractory hypokalaemia and hypercalcemia.
Gout.
The use of candesartan cilexetil/hydrochlorothiazide in combination with aliskiren-containing medicines in patients with diabetes or moderate to severe renal impairment (GFR<60mL/min/1.73m2).
