Hydroxyzine diHCl

Indications/Uses

Pruritus due to allergic conditions eg, chronic urticaria, atopic & contact dermatoses. Relief of anxiety.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 25 mg 3 times daily, if required 100 mg daily, childn >6 yr 50-100 mg daily divided into 3-4 doses, <6 yr 50 mg daily divided into 3-4 doses. Sedative Adult 50-100 mg. Childn 0.6 mg/kg/day.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Special Precautions

Avoid operating vehicles.

Adverse Reactions

Sedation.
