Indications/Uses
Symptomatic pain relief in patients w/ OA or joint degenerative disease causing synovial fluid dysfunction.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Inj 1 pre-filled syringe once wkly for 3 consecutive wk.
Contraindications
History of hypersensitivity. Not to be used if there is skin infection or disease in the area to be injected; if knee joint to be injected is in a state of severe infection or inflammation.
Special Precautions
Not for ophth use. Avoid concomitant use w/ other IA treatment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Joint discomfort, transient joint pain & inflammation.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use w/ quaternary ammonium salts ie, benzalkonium Cl may cause precipitation of hyaluronic acid.
