Alco drops & Alco Flu syr Symptomatic relief of sneezing & nasal congestion due to flu. Alco Flu Plus Cough syr Relief of cough w/ sneezing & nasal congestion due to flu.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Alco dropsChildn 2-5 yr 0.8 mL 3 times daily. Alco Flu syr/Alco Flu Plus Cough syrAdult & childn >12 yr 5 mL. Childn 6-12 yr 2.5 mL, 2-5 yr 1.25 mL. To be taken 3 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
HTN, stroke, palpitations, insomnia.
Special Precautions
Impaired hepatic or renal function, prostatic hypertrophy, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, cardiac disorders, DM, hypoxia, debilitated. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Insomnia, headache, palpitations, excitation, tremor, arrhythmias, tachycardia, difficulty in micturition.
