Silver sulfadiazine

Indications/Uses

As an adjunct in the prevention & treatment of infection in 2nd & 3rd degree burns.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn Apply topically to a thickness of approx ¹/₁₆ inch once or bd. The burned area should be covered w/ cream at all times.

Contraindications

Pregnant women (approaching or at term); premature infants; newborn infants <2 mth.
