Lyophilized killed Lactobacillus acidophilus.

Description

Capsule: Composition (1 capsule): Metabolic products of Lactobacillus acidophilus: Lyophilized killed microbial bodies 5 billions; Neutralized and lyophilized culture medium 80 mg.
Excipients: (q.s.p. 235 mg) Lactose monohydrate, calcium carbonate, silicic acid, magnesium stearate, anhydrous lactose.
Sachet: Composition (1 sachet): Metabolic products of Lactobacillus acidophilus: Lyophilized killed microbial bodies 10 billions; Neutralized and lyophilized culture medium 160 mg.
Excipients: (q.s.p. 800 mg) Lactose monohydrate, calcium carbonate, silicic acid, banana-orange flavour, saccharose.

Action

Antidiarrhoeal of microbial origin with: Direct bacteriostatic action, and stimulation of the growth of the defensive acidogenic intestinal flora; non-specific immunostimulation of the mucosa (increase synthesis of IgA).

Indications/Uses

Symptomatic treatment of occasional diarrheas.

Dosage/Direction for Use

To be taken at the first sign of diarrhea.
