Description
One bottle of Ededay contains 10 ml of hypertonic sterile ophthalmic solution, preservative free. Thanks to its innovative formulation, Ededay has mucoadhesive properties: allowing a better adherence to the ocular surface which ensure hydration and protection to the eye.
Ededay is a medical device helping to provide temporary relief from corneal oedema symptoms.
Indications/Uses
Ededay is a hypertonic sterile ophthalmic solution, preservative free, indicated for temporary relief from corneal oedema symptoms, such as alteration of the vision and pain.
Ededay is characterized by higher osmolarity than the tear fluid: this difference in terms of osmolarity is necessary for the edematous fluid reabsorption. The application of Ededay provides the corneal surface an increased osmolarity recalling water from the corneal layers. Sodium Hyaluronate contained in Ededay forms a protective shield on the eye providing protection and hydration. Sodium hyaluronate makes the application of Ededay more comfortable thanks to its lubricating and mechanical protective properties reducing the typical burning sensation and irritation of hypertonic solutions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill one or two drops in each eye, every three or four hours or according to medical prescription.
