Indications/Uses
Cream For tinea pedis (athlete's foot) & tinea cruris (jock itch) only. Powd Follow-up treatment of fungal infections of the skin & the folds of the skin.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cream Apply thinly & evenly to the affected area bd-tds & rub in gently. Powd Sprinkle onto the affected skin areas & the surrounding healthy skin & spread it thoroughly once daily or bd.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Cream Nail or scalp infections.
Special Precautions
For external use only & should not be put in the mouth or swallowed. Pregnancy & lactation. Cream Do not use for >2 wk. Do not smoke or go near naked flames. Contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin irritation & benzyl alcohol which may cause allergic reactions & mild local irritation. Not suitable for infant, childn <12 yr, pregnant women, breast-feeding or trying for a baby. Powd Do not use for >4-5 wk.
Adverse Reactions
Cream Itching, rash, blisters, burning, discomfort, swelling, irritation, redness or peeling of skin; nausea; weakness, feeling dizzy or faint; swallowing or breathing problems. Powd Rarely, local mild burning or irritation, rash or itching.
Drug Interactions
Powd Temporarily reduced effectivity & safety of latex products (eg, condoms & diaphragms); vaginal spermicides. Reduced efficacy of other anti-fungal agents (eg, amphotericin & other polyene antibiotics eg, nystatin & natamycin).
