Contraindications

The patient should NOT take APO-ALENDRONATE / VITAMIN D₃ if he/she: has certain disorders of the esophagus; is unable to stand or sit upright for at least 30 minutes; is allergic to any of its ingredients; has low blood calcium; has SEVERE kidney disease. If having any doubts if this applies, speak to the doctor.
