Contraindications

Tuberculous or syphilitic processes in the area to be treated; virus diseases (e.g. vaccinia, children-pox, shingles). The clinical indication for treatment with Advantan must be carefully reviewed and the benefits weighed against the risks in pregnant and lactating women. In particular, large-area or prolonged use must be avoided.
