Colchicine

Indications/Uses

Symptomatic relief of acute attacks of gout. Prophylaxis against repeat acute attacks.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Therapeutic 1 tab every 1-2 hr until complete response. Prophylaxis 1 tab once daily to tid.

Administration

Should be taken with food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Serious GI, renal, hepatitis or cardiac disorders. Blood dyscrasias.
