Moxifloxacin HCl
Indications/Uses
Bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, dacryocystitis, hordeolum, tarsadenitis, keratitis (including corneal ulcer) caused by susceptible strains, as well as pre- & post-op prophylaxis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Blepharitis, dacryocystitis, hordeolum, conjunctivitis, tarsadenitis, keratitis (including corneal ulcer) Instill 1 drop in the affected eye tds. Adjust instillation frequency according to the symptoms. Pre- & post-op prophylaxis Instill 1 drop in the affected eye 5 times daily for 2 days before operation & tds up to 14 days after operation. Concurrent use w/ other ophth soln Leave at least 5 mins between administrations.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to quinolones.
