Tadaccord

Erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult males. Signs & symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

ED 10 mg prior to anticipated sexual activity. Patient in whom tadalafil 10 mg does not produce adequate effect Max dose: 20 mg. Max dosing frequency: Once daily. Patient who anticipates frequent use of Tadaccord Initially 2.5 mg once daily at approx same time every day, may be increased to 5 mg once daily. BPH 5 mg at approx same time every day. Therapy initiated w/ finasteride Recommended tadalafil dose: 5 mg once daily at approx same time every day for up to 26 wk. Use as needed Moderate renal impairment (CrCl 31-50 mL/min) Initially 5 mg once daily. Max dose: 10 mg not more than once in every 48 hr. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min) or on hemodialysis Max dose: 5 mg not more than once in every 72 hr. Hepatic impairment 10 mg prior to anticipated sexual activity. Patient taking CYP3A4 inhibitors Max dose: 10 mg not to exceed once every 72 hr for as needed use; 2.5 mg for once daily use.

May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole; do not divide.

Hypersensitivity. Concomitant use w/ any form of organic nitrate. Men w/ cardiac disease for whom sexual activity is inadvisable. MI w/in last 90 days. Unstable angina or angina occurring during sexual intercourse. NYHA class 2 or greater heart failure in last 6 mth. Uncontrolled arrhythmias or HTN, hypotension (<90/50 mmHg). Stroke w/in last 6 mth. Vision loss in 1 eye due to non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy. Co-administration w/ guanylate cyclase stimulators (eg, riociguat).
