Risperidone

Indications/Uses

Acute & chronic schizophrenic psychoses, hallucinations & delusions. Alleviates affective symptoms (eg, depression, guilt feelings, anxiety) associated w/ schizophrenia.

Dosage/Direction for Use

IM 25 mg every 2 wk. Administer 1st dose of Rykindo along w/ 7 days of oral risperidone. Max: 50 mg every 2 wk.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to risperidone or paliperidone.
