Indications/Uses
Active immunisation of infants from 6 wk of age for prevention of gastroenteritis due to rotavirus infection.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administer 1st dose from 6 wk of age w/ at least 4-wk interval between doses. Vaccination course: 2 doses given preferably before 16 wk of age & must be completed by 24 wk of age.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Ongoing diarrhoea or vomiting. History of intussusception. Uncorrected congenital malformation (eg, Meckel's diverticulum) of GIT. Severe combined immunodeficiency disorder.
