Peritoneal dialysis (PD) for acute & chronic renal failure w/ manifestations of severe water retention & electrolyte imbalance. Intoxication w/ dialyzable substances where adequate alternate treatments are not available.
IP Individualized dosage. Administer qds to 5x daily.
Uncorrectable mechanical defects that prevent effective PD or increase infection risk. Documented loss of peritoneal function or extensive adhensions that compromise peritoneal function.
