Paracetamol

Indications/Uses

Relief of fever & pain associated w/ headache, teething, toothache, earache, immunization, cold & flu symptoms.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Childn 1-6 yr weighing 19.5 kg 12 mL, 18-19 kg 11 mL, 16-17.5 kg 10 mL, 15 kg 9 mL, 13-14 kg 8 mL, 12 kg 7 mL, 10-11 kg 6 mL, 9.5 kg 5 mL. Not to be taken for >4 doses in any 24 hr period or more frequently than every 4 hr. Max duration of continued use w/o medical advice: 3 days.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Co-administration w/ other prescription or non-prescription drugs containing paracetamol to treat pain, fever, cold & flu symptoms.
