Indications/Uses
Prevention of premature LH surges in women undergoing controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) for assisted reproduction techniques.
Dosage/Direction for Use
SC 0.25 mg once daily starting on day 6 of FSH administration. COH w/ FSH may start at day 2 or 3 of menses. High responder Starting Orgalutran treatment on day 5 may prevent early LH rise.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to synthetic decapeptide ganirelix, gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) or any other GnRH analogue. Moderate or severe renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
