Adults w/ RA, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (AS), non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis or plaque psoriasis. Paed patients w/ juvenile idiopathic arthritis or plaque psoriasis.

SC Adult 18-64 yr & elderly RA 25 mg twice wkly (72-96 hr apart). Alternatively, 50 mg once wkly. Psoriatic arthritis, AS & non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis 25 mg twice wkly (72-96 hr apart) or 50 mg once wkly. Plaque psoriasis 25 mg twice wkly (72-96 hr apart) or 50 mg once wkly. Alternatively if necessary, 50 mg twice wkly for up to 12 wk followed by 25 mg twice wkly or 50 mg once wkly. Continue until remission is achieved for up to 24 wk. Paed Juvenile idiopathic arthritis 0.4 mg/kg (up to max of 25 mg/dose) twice wkly (72-96 hr apart) w/ 3-4 days interval between doses or 0.8 mg/kg (up to max of 50 mg/dose) once wkly. Plaque psoriasis ≥6 yr 0.8 mg/kg (up to max of 50 mg/dose) once wkly for up to 24 wk.

Hypersensitivity. Active TB or other severe infections (eg, sepsis, abscesses & opportunistic infections).

L04AB01 - etanercept ; Belongs to the class of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) inhibitors. Used as immunosuppressants.
