Indications/Uses
Adjunct in the diagnosis & localization of myocardial ischaemia &/or infarction; to the initial assessments (eg, palpation, mammography or alternative imaging modalities &/or cytology) in the malignancy characterisation of suspected breast lesions where all these other recommended tests were inconclusive.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & elderly Diagnosis & localization of myocardial ischaemia 185-250 MBq at peak exercise followed by 500-750 MBq given at rest approx 4 hr later. Max daily dose: 1,000 MBq. Adjunct in the diagnosis & localization of MI 185-250 MBq at rest. Diagnosis & localization of suspected breast lesions 500-750 MBq.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy.
