Lutetium oxodotreotide

Indications/Uses

Unresectable or metastatic, progressive, well-differentiated (G1 & G2), somatostatin receptor +ve gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors including foregut, midgut & hindgut neuroendocrine tumors in adults.

Dosage/Direction for Use

IV Adult 4 infusions of 7.4 GBq each by slow infusion for approx 30 ± 10 min at a rate of up to 400 mL/hr. Recommended interval between each infusion is 8 wk. Pre-medicate w/ antiemetics w/ sufficient lead time prior to start of amino acid soln infusion. Administer amino acid soln 30 min before the start of Lutathera infusion for 4 hr at a rate of 250-500 mL/hr depending on vol.

Contraindications

Severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min). Pregnancy.
