Donanemab

Indications/Uses

Slows disease progression in adult patients w/ Alzheimer's disease.

Dosage/Direction for Use

IV 350 mg for the 1st dose, 700 mg for the 2nd dose & 1,050 mg for the 3rd dose, followed by 1,400 mg every 4 wk infuse over at least 30 min. Maintain treatment until amyloid plaques are cleared, as confirmed using a validated method, up to a max of 18 mth.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.
