Indications/Uses
Lymphography. Visualisation, locating & vectoring during transarterial chemoembolisation of intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma in adults.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Intralymphatic Lymphography Max: 8 mL/extremity. Childn 0.2 mL/kg. Intra-arterial Transarterial chemoembolisation of hepatocellular carcinoma Adult Max: 15 mL. Elderly Max: 10 mL.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Proven hyperthyroidism. Trauma injuries, haemorrhages or recent bleeding episodes. Bronchography. Ischaemic & toxic effects for the gallbladder when used to treat hepatocellular carcinoma. Not to be administered in hepatic areas where bile ducts are dilated unless post-procedure drainage is possible. Possible total obstruction of hepatic artery & total suppression of arterial flow when given intra-arterially. Pregnancy.
