Erectile dysfunction in adult males.

Adult men 10 mg at least 30 min prior to anticipated sexual activity. Max dose frequency: Once daily regimen: 2.5 mg once daily at approx the same time each day, may be increased to 5 mg once daily based on individual efficacy & tolerability. Renal impairment: CrCl 31-50 mL/min As needed use: Initially 5 mg once daily. Max: 10 mg every 48 hr, <30 mL/min or on hemodialysis As needed use: Max: 5 mg every 72 hr. Hepatic impairment As needed use: 10 mg prior to anticipated sexual activity. Patient taking CYP3A4 inhibitor As needed use: Max: 10 mg once every 72 hr. Once daily use: Max: 2.5 mg.

May be taken with or without food.

Hypersensitivity. Patients who are using any form of organic nitrate. Not to be used in men w/ cardiac disease for whom sexual activity is inadvisable. Patients w/ MI w/in the last 90 days; unstable angina or angina occurring during sexual intercourse; NYHA class 2 or greater heart failure in the last 6 mth; uncontrolled arrhythmias, hypotension (<90/50 mmHg) or uncontrolled HTN; stroke w/in the last 6 mth. Patients who have vision loss in 1 eye because of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy. Co-administration w/ guanylate cyclase stimulators (eg, riociguat).
