Indications/Uses
Overactive bladder w/ symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency or increased urinary frequency.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult including elderly 5 mg once daily. May be increased to a max of 10 mg once daily. Co-medication w/ ketoconazole or other potent CYP3A4-inhibitors (eg, ritonavir, nelfinavir, itraconazole, cyclosporin, macrolides), severe renal (CrCl ≤30 mL/min) & moderate hepatic (Child-Pugh B) impairment Max: 5 mg once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Urinary retention. Uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma. Severe GI condition (including toxic megacolon & gastric retention). Myasthenia gravis. Patients undergoing haemodialysis. Severe hepatic impairment. Severe renal or moderate hepatic impairment. Patients on treatment w/ potent CYP3A4 inhibitor (eg, ketoconazole).
